Roof collecting water or starting to leak?

PandaCoat TopBase ST is a one-component, silicone-based (silane) waterproofing coating for complete, standalone waterproofing of roofs and surfaces. Especially suitable for flat roofs, roofs with PU foam or polystyrene insulation and areas with standing water. Applied directly to the prepared substrate in one thick coat.

Why TopBase ST

Reflects solar heat (white version)
The white TopBase ST reflects sunlight and keeps the space under the roof cooler in summer; grey is a versatile, less visible option.

One thick coat
Unlike UniBase MS, TopBase ST does not need 2–3 coats – one thick coat is enough (up to 1.6 L/m² in one pass).

Resistant to all weather
The cured membrane withstands UV, rain, snow, ice and temperatures from -30 °C to +80 °C (ETAG 005 TL4/TH3).

Easy to use – usually no primer
Apply with a brush, roller or airless sprayer. Primer is usually not needed on ceramics and metal; on concrete Primer VL is recommended, on damp concrete EP-W, on bitumen VL 2K.

CE certified (ETAG 005)
TopBase ST has full DoP documentation according to ETAG 005 – confirmed W3 (25-year) working life.

What it is

One-component liquid waterproofing coating based on silane-modified silicone that cures with atmospheric moisture into a strong, elastic, watertight membrane. TopBase ST is a separate waterproofing line (silicone chemistry) – used instead of UniBase MS (MS polymer), not together with it in the same layer.

• Flat and pitched roofs, especially with standing water

• Gutters, roof details, minor damage
• Farm buildings, garages, warehouses
• Old polyurethane (PU) coatings with chalking
• Concrete, metal, ceramic, wood and plastic surfaces

Application

The substrate must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease (concrete moisture <5%). Primer is usually not needed, but for better mechanical properties we recommend Primer VL (concrete), EP-W (damp concrete) or VL 2K (bitumen). Seal joints beforehand with TopBase ST Paste.

Apply TopBase ST with a brush, roller or spray equipment in one thick coat. If more than one coat is applied, wait 3–48 h between coats. Skin forms in approx. 2 h (23 °C/50% RH).

Coverage: 1.0–1.3 L/m² (1.2–1.6 kg/m²) for a standard coat, or up to 1.6 L/m² in one thick coat.
